Grace Brings You Home

Connie Grant founded Grow in Grace Outreach Services, Inc in 2014. She was determined to create an organization that would provide a safe home environment, but also a place that would love, care, and nurture families and children who are victims of circumstance and are in desperate need of a stable family environment. Grow in Grace Outreach Services, Inc. is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt not-for-profit organization that’s vision is: Strong Families for a Stronger Community.

It is our goal at Grow in Grace to create loving families who are stable and secure through education, supporting existing families, or by creating family environments in Group Homes and Transitional and Independent Living Programs. We believe if these children have a nurturing and secure home environment, it will transform struggling families and individuals. We have six programs that we feel serves the variety of needs in the community. Our programs are group homes, maternity homes, early childhood education center, transitional living program, independent living program, and the family preservation program.

A Glimpse into the Programs:
Our Group Homes employs house parents who care for children in each home. Our house parents are committed to the program and believe their purpose in life is to serve as a role model and help these children long-term. We encourage the healthy development and growth of children in all aspects – physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally – and to assist in creating strong families.
The Serenity8 Maternity Home is for youth 21 years of age and younger, and their children who need a loving home. There is a highly trained adult staff living with the girls. We provide the young mothers with childcare, educational assistance, recreational opportunities, parenting education, and employment skills training. They will also receive individual and group counseling and medical services. It is our goal to prepare these ladies for independence, self-sufficiency, and to become effective parents capable of rearing strong families. The children are provided a safe and supportive place where they can grow.
The Early Childhood Education center provides high-quality affordable preschool care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We offer after school and summer day care as well as participate in the Georgia Pre-Kindergarten program.
Family Preservation Program assists parents with providing a safe and loving home environment. It is our desire to promote and re-establish healthy relationships and improve communications skills within the family and to prevent neglect and abuse. Available 24 hours a day, our program provides a safe environment which can quickly alleviate any immediate family crisis.
The Transitional and Independent Living programs are for youth 21 years of age and younger, and those who have aged out of the state foster care system and are ready to enter a phase of care that will eventually transition them to independent living. Both programs provide training in life skills such as budgeting, use of credit, housekeeping, menu planning and food preparation, and parenting skills when necessary. There is also education provided in the form of GED preparation, post-secondary training, and vocational training.

A strong family is vital for the community to thrive. Helping these families create lives for themselves and their children is not only a way to give back to the community, but a way to spread hope and happiness to families who need love and guidance. Grow in Grace strives to provide education, mental and emotional support, and anything else that can be beneficial so we can see all children growing and thriving in a safe, stable environment. Choose Grace, because Grace brings you home.
